Sculpture, 2022
For the “Bull’s Eye” project in the Kombüse Graz, curated by Uwe Gallaun, the sculptural installation was created in 2022. It was permanently installed in the Kombüse after a one month exhibition in the “Bull’s Eye”. In other words, “Wach” means “awake”, but in the Austrian dialect it can mean the opposite when drawn out. In this case, “Wach” or “waach” alludes to the state of consciousness of a person who is “soft in the head” or “spaced out” to strongly illuminated.
The sculpture was inspired by a visitor of Kombüse who, in a similar position one evening, let his head hang from his shoulders in a state of intoxication.
